NAET Tester

NAET Tester

NAET Tester

The NAET® hand-held tester is a type of dynamometer is used to measure the strength of the hand (on a 0-100 scale) in the presence and absence of a suspected allergen. The Tester is held is held in the palm of the hand. Then the rubber bulb is squeezed to make the reading needle swing between 0-100 on the scale. Initial base line reading without touching or holding any substance is observed first. Note down the number that the needle rests on the face of the tester. Then hold or touch the substance to be tested by one hand while squeezing the rubber bulb again with the other hand. Note the number now. If the second reading is more than the initial reading, there is no allergy. If the second reading is less than the initial reading, then there is an allergy or sensitivity to the item you are touching or holding.

Points to remember while testing with this tester.
Always wash your hands with soap and water before beginning the testing. This is to remove any residue from other items you handled before testing.
For allergens such as food, beverages, water, chemicals, mold, pollen, dust, etc. please place the substance in a thin jar or a baby food jar closed with a lid before holding it in your hand for testing.
If you want to test fabrics, wood, or plastic, etc. you may touch the item with your finger-pads with one hand and have the tester in the other hand.
The hand-strength is compared with and without the presence of the allergen in your hand.
Use the same amount of pressure when you test with and without the allergen.
If the second reading is more than the initial reading, there is no allergy. If the second reading is less than the initial reading, then there is an allergy. For example: if the initial (baseline) reading is 20 on a scale of 1-100, and the reading in the presence of an allergen (for e.g. apple) is 18, the person is allergic to the apple. If the second reading is 8 or 10, or lower, the person has a huge allergy to the apple. If the second reading is 22, or higher, there is no allergy.
Another benefit of the tester is that the degree of the weakness/strength is measured in numbers. This gives the tester some understanding of the degree of allergy one has towards the allergen.
Use the tester to screen your allergen before you use them. If you are able to detect your sensitivities, avoid using or consuming those items until you are desensitized for those items through NAET and the sensitivities have been cleared.

Please visit: to find a trained NAET practitioner near you.
Upon clearing the sensitivities, while holding the substance, your hand strength should be same as the baseline or higher. It takes a fair amount of practice to get good at testing. Don’t give up. Keep practicing until you become an expert. Stay Allergy-free and enjoy your health!!!
This tester is not designed to diagnose any medical condition. If you suffer from any medical condition, please consult with a medical specialist.

Nambudripad, M.D., D.C., L.Ac., Ph.D. Paperback 1st Edition, 1994; 10th Edition 2018 93 pages, 8.5’ X 11’ X .5’ This is a comprehensive, yet easy to understand reference and record book for patients going through NAET® treatments. Patients are expected to read the core companion text, Say Good-bye to Illness, before beginning treatment. The guide book helps the patient prepare for food and environmental allergy treatments, as well as provides answers to frequently asked questions about allergies and NAET®. Since the treatment is interactive, both the patient and practitioner can develop mutual understanding of the allergies and treatment methods. Record-keeping is a problem for everybody. But accuracy of record keeping will help the patient to achieve maximum results in a short period of time. This book is designed to help the patient and the practitioner keep better treatment records with less effort. This book can replace the runner file in the office. Practitioners can keep one book for each patient and mark the treatments and results in the book. The patient can keep another book for himself or herself, and can have a personal journal about the NAET® treatments. If the patient decides to visit another NAET® Practitioner in another town or state, she/he could take his/her own NAET® treatment record with them to the new practitioner and continue to receive the uninterrupted care instead of waiting for days for the patient-record to arrive from the other doctor’s office to begin treatments.

Say Goodbye to Allergy-Related Autism

Say Good-bye to Allergy-related Autism By - Devi S. Nambudripad, M.D., D.C., L.Ac., Ph.D. Paperback-1st Edition 1999; Paperback-3rd Edition 2011 280 pages, 8.5’X5.5’X.75" ISBN: 978-1-934523-17-9 This book discusses about a drug-free solution for allergy-related autism using Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET®). In Say Good-bye to Allergy–related autism, Dr. Nambudripad, the developer of NAET®, helps the reader explore the truth behind most cases of allergy-based autism spectrum disorders-the most frightening epidemic attacking one out of one hundred and sixty-six children before the age of three today. This book provides useful, practical, effective solutions to help autistic children and their families. She explains how allergies are often the underlying causes to autistic disorders and how NAET® testing procedures and NAET® treatments can offer relief from their allergies and these allergy-based disorders. This book also explains the theoretical basis for her technique and provides true testimonials and fascinating case histories of autistic patients who have been treated successfully with NAET®. Dr. Nambudripad also discusses the transformation of autistic children as they become productive while going through NAET® treatments. She also shares results of two autism studies conducted using NAET®. It is encouraging for the parents of autistic children to learn about the recent (2005) NAET® autism study using 30 subjects in the treatment group and 30 subjects in the control group, where 23 out of 26 children from the treatment group significantly improved to the point that these children were able to remove the label of autism and attend regular school and normal activities, just after completing NAET® treatments for 50 allergen groups, within the span of 12 months. The book is filled with encouraging, educating and exciting testimonials from the satisfied and happy parents about their journey through the rocky road and their horizons.
